Herm Sprenger Weymouth Special Dressage Bit
This bit is specially designed for dressage. It features a high port and more space left for the tongue (broader in the middle of the mouthpiece). Horses that are irritated by a cramped tongue become eager to perform. The port is also angled forward at 30 degrees.
The mouthpiece is made from Aurigan, which is a strong and solid nickel-free alloy with high oxidation properties that give it a distinctive and pleasant taste that horses love, thus encouraging chewing and acceptance of the bit. The mouthpiece is 18mm thick. The cheeks are made of stainless steel and are 13cm long.
